Scoring

Each pool entry will receive points for every correct prediction on the following scale:

• First Round = 1 point per game
• Second Round = 2 points
• Regional Semifinals = 4 points
• Regional Finals = 8 points
• National Semifinals = 12 points
• Championship = 16 points

The Pool Standings will show an up-to-date status of all submitted entries.

Prizes

After the entire tournament is complete, the top 5 finishers in the pool will be awarded prize money (100% payout) on the following basis:

• 1st Place = 60%
• 2nd Place = 20%
• 3rd Place = 10%
• 4th Place = 6%
• 5th Place = 4%

In the event of a tie (or ties), payouts will be handled on the following basis:

• Any entries that end in a tie with one or more other entries will divide equally the prize money for the places the tied teams represent.
  
  Example 1:
  
  Entry A - 100 pts.
  Entry B - 100 pts.
  Entry C - 99 pts.
  Entry D - 96 pts.
  Entry E - 95 pts.
  Entry F - 94 pts.
  
  Entry A and Entry B would divide 80% (60% + 20%). Entry C would get 10%. Entry D would get 6%. Entry E would get 4%. Entry F would get nothing.
  
  Example 2:
  
  Entry A - 107 pts.
  Entry B - 101 pts.
  Entry C - 101 pts.
  Entry D - 93 pts.
  Entry E - 93 pts.
  Entry F - 93 pts.
  Entry G - 93 pts.
  
  Entry A would get 60%. Entry B and Entry C would divide 30% (20% + 10%). Entry D, Entry E, Entry F and Entry G would divide 10% (6% + 4%).
